Lead Cloud Infrastructure - Jan'2021 to Sep'2021

ZEE5 is an on-demand Internet streaming media provider and is one of the leading OTT platform in India. I worked in Zee5 as Lead Infrastructure Architect , helped Zee5 to make infrastructure 25 times more scalable.

Redesigning of AWS Infrastructure : Redesigned and updated AWS infrastructure (serving live XX Million user per day) and scaled it to handle 25 times of peak load. This complete activity was done within 15 days for "Radhe" movie Launch and "Friends: The Reunion" Launch.

Production Operations : Managed AWS Cloud Operations for OTT platform with Million of active users and restored production outage 3 times within 30 min.

FinOps : Started FinOps for cloud cost management, Build the team, Trained them, provided tools like CXO DashBoard and CUDOS Dashboard , increased use of spot instances, increased usage of RI and saving plan. Helped Organisation to save $2M per annum within 6 month of FinOps Operation.

Infrastructure as Code : Helped team to build reusable modules repository, Increased utilization of terraform from 40% to 80%.

AWS DataCenter Engineer - July 2019 to Jan 2021

AWS Subject Matter Expert for Informa Enterprise Global Support team Managing & Supporting AWS Infrastructure. It is not fun to manage 7000+ EC2 instances and 200+ AWS Accounts without automation, so I was automating every possible task using Terraform, Ansible, Python, Boto3 & AWS CLI. Here I work for cost saving, compliance , maintenance & Support of any AWS Infrastructure issue.

AWS Cost Saving : Implemented $1M per annum cost saving. Automated most of these task using Python.

Terraform : Designed and Implemented Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

ECS/Kubernetes : Managed and supported large cluster of ECS and Kubernetes.

AWS Resource Inventory & Compliance Reporting : Created Global inventory for AWS resources using python boto3 sdk.

AWS Compute Monitoring : Created a custom monitoring solution for specific needs using using Python, MYSQL, PHP & HTML.

Build & managed AWS infrastructure for Cloud Managed Service.

Worked on multiple project for automation and orchestration of task. Honored to get selected as tiger team member for automation and orchestration withing Cisco's Cloud Managed Services. Implemented DevOps practises to all product development teams for automation and orchestration. Manaaged Cisco's DataCenter lab infrastructure of more than 40 rack spaces along with AWS infrastructure.
